“海外奇器--晚清士人眼中的西方科技世界”以晚清士人出洋记述为主线,配合清华大学科学博物馆馆藏约100件/套西方科技实物展品,展示晚清中国人眼中的西方科技世界。展览时间为2024年3月-2025年3月，地点为清华大学蒙民伟人文楼B204、B205展厅。展览自开幕以来已吸引校内外观众上万名，并举办多场配套讲座，为大家深入讲述工业启蒙中的科学精神、晚清报刊与摄影术的传入等展览相关内容。

The exhibition “Wonderful Instruments from Overseas: The Western Scientific and Technological World as Seen by Late Qing Scholars” focuses on the overseas travel accounts of late Qing scholars, complemented by approximately 100 exhibits of Western scientific and technological artifacts from the collection of Tsinghua University Science Museum (in development). It showcases the Western technological world as perceived by the Chinese in the late Qing Dynasty. The exhibition runs from March 2024 to March 2025, and is located in the B204 and B205 exhibition halls of the Meng Minwei Humanities Building at Tsinghua University. Since its opening, the exhibition has attracted tens of thousands of visitors from both inside and outside the university, and has hosted multiple supporting lectures to delve deeper into topics such as the scientific spirit in the Industrial Enlightenment, the introduction of late Qing newspapers and photography, and other related aspects of the exhibition.
