张小燕女士,来自马来西亚加埔国民型英华华文学校,是一名充满热情与创新精神的幼儿教育工作者。多年从事早期儿童教育工作,并专注于将科学、可持续发展理念以及 21 世纪技能融入幼儿课堂教学。她深信项目式学习的重要性,始终认为幼儿在动手探索、运用批判性思维和解决真实问题的过程中能收获最佳的学习效果。
她荣幸参与了马来西亚学前教育新课程的编写工作,这让其能直接为幼儿塑造更有意义的、面向未来的学习体验贡献力量。
她的教育奉献获得了本地和国际的认可:曾受邀参与马来西亚教育电视频道 DIDIK 节目的录制;于 2022 年荣获“马来西亚最有活力教师奖”;并在香港 2023 年及 2025 年两度获得“最具热情教师奖”,也夺得 2024 年“马来西亚教师创新奖”亚军;至今,她已在多个创新与教育竞赛中斩获超过 50 枚金牌、10 枚银牌和 10 枚铜牌。
她将以创造力、创新和热忱,继续激励并推动早期儿童教育的发展。
Ms. Teow Chiau Yien, a passionate and innovative preschool educator at Chinese National Primary School Ying Wah from Malaysia. With years of experience in early childhood education, she specializes in integrating science, sustainability, and 21st-century skills into the preschool classroom. She is deeply committed to project-based learning and believe young children learn best through hands-on exploration, critical thinking, and real-world problem solving.
She is honored to serve as one of the panel members for the development of Malaysia’s new national preschool curriculum. Being part of this initiative allows her to contribute directly to shaping meaningful, future-ready learning experiences for young children at a national level.
Her dedication to education has been recognized both locally and internationally. She was featured on the Malaysia Educational TV (known as DIDIK TV) and awarded the title “Most Supporting Teacher in Malaysia” (2022). She was also named “The Most Enthusiastic Teacher” in Hong Kong (2023, 2025) and received 1st Runner-Up in the Malaysia Teacher Innovator Award (2024). To date, she have received over 50 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals in various innovation and education competitions.
She strives to continue inspiring and advancing early childhood education through creativity, innovation, and heart.
