哈尔滨工业大学博士，清华大学博士后，二级教授、博士生导师。现任中国科技新闻学会副理事长、北京科技大学科技与文明研究中心主任。曾任黑龙江省科协副主席、中国科普所所长、中国科协调研宣传部部长、办公厅主任、创新战略研究院院长等职，兼任中国科普作家协会副理事长、北京市科协副主席、《科普研究》《Cultures of Science》《湾区科技评论》主编等职。主要从事科技传播与科学教育、科学文化及科技政策等方面的研究工作。发表论文 110 余篇，出版专著、高校教材和研究报告等 20 余部；主持国家级课题 20 余项；获国务院政府特殊津贴及省部级科技奖励和国家专利多项；培养硕士、博士、博士后 50 余人。

Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology, Post-doctoral researcher at Tsinghua University, Second-Class Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. Currently serving as Deputy Chairman of China Society for Science and Technology Journalism and Director of the Center for Science, Technology and Civilization Research, University of Science and Technology Beijing. Formerly held positions such as Vice Chairman of Heilongjiang Provincial Association for Science and Technology; Director of China Research Institute for Science Popularization; Director of the Research and Propaganda Department, Director of the General Office, and Dean of the Innovation Strategy Research Institute of China Association for Science and Technology. Concurrently serving as Deputy Chairman of China Science Writers Association, Vice Chairman of Beijing Association for Science and Technology, and Editor-in-Chief of "Studies on Science Popularization", "Cultures of Science", and "Bay Area Science Review". Primarily engaged in research on science communication and science education, science culture, and science and technology policy. Published over 110 papers and authored/coauthored more than 20 monographs, college textbooks, and research reports. Led over 20 national-level research projects. Received special government allowances from the State Council, numerous provincial and ministerial scientific and technological awards, and national patents. Mentored over 50 master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral students.
